Wedding Help with Tuxedos, please!?

My youngest son is getting married in December and the bridesmaid dresses are a kinda maroon/wine color red. I got so confused when we went to look at Tuxedos yesterday! I was thinking on the lines of maybe that wine color cumber-bun and bow tie. But they said that vests were in style now, and not so much the cumer-bum thing anymore. But to me a vest in that color with the black jacket and pants, was just too much red. What should I do? Can I go with just a taupe color vest? Or stick to my idea with the wine/red cumber-bun??

My girls wore cranberry-red dresses and we matched the groomsmens vests and ties. They wore black jackets & pants with it.
