My Little Plan- I call: the CULTURAL PRESERVATION ACT?

Constitutional Amendment: The Church and State must be separate, but the culture we have as a nation is our frame of reference. Our survival depends on unity. We said no the Mormons having more than one wife- (on what basis?). This Act would give a concreteness to our beliefs and ways as a nation. Immigrants must sign onto adopting out heritage – no covered faces, no refusing to pick up customers who are carrying wine (taxi drivers), no special bathrooms to wash feet before prayer time- no demanding special holidays and time to pray at places of employment. Don’t like it: Stay home. YES NO MAYBE?
This would solve issue with gay marriage and people trying to remove crosses.
And Desktop- your Post just brings us all together
The original belief in God- Western Civilization concept of a Deity – not Yahweh or Jesus or Allah- but the God of Thomas Jefferson.
Thanks for your contribution Wretched

When will it iake effect?

When Americans visit or emigrate to other countries, we have to assimilate into their culture. We are our own soverign nation lasi time I checked, with our own laws and beliefs. Why do we have to bend over backwards to kiss everyone else’s *** when they come here? I do believe that we should respect other cultures, but we can NOT turn our beliefs upside down in the process. If someone chooses to emigrate to our country, it MUST be done legally and our laws MUST be adhered to. If taxi drivers choose not to pick up passengers because they, or what they carry, conflivts with thrie religious preference, that is their choice. It is also our choice to revoke their hack license. Immigrant employees can observe their religious holidays; it is only fair, but no special places to pray. That is what mosques, etc. are for.

Let’s expand your bill to include the following:
Lawsuits like the one brought on by the muslims that raised a ruckus on a US Airways flight would be automatically thrown out; in fact it would not even be permissable to file such a ludicrous claim.

If an immigrant has a felony on his record ANYWHERE, that person will be denied entry into the U.S. If an immigrant commits a felony while in this country, that person will be deported after time is served. This will apply also if the offense is a DUI, DWI, drug-related, violent , terroristic, sexual, or puts minors at risk. All others will be left to the courts’ discretion.

Immigrants must also be “on the books” while working. Failure to comply (immigrants working off the books) will result in immediate deportation and the employer will face a $50,000 fine and up to 5 years in jail. Employers must also pay immigrant workers competitive wages (in other words, no more $2.00 an hour mexicans at the expense of the hard-working American feeding his/her family) Failure to comply will also result in a $50,000 fine and up to 5 years in jail.

Immigrants must also learn English within a reasonable time and be proficient in the language before applying for citizenship. Failure to comply will result in immediate deportation.

Immigrant workers will also be subject to a 10% non-citizen withholding tax from their paychecks until they become American citizens. This will generate income for services such as English classes for immigrants, border security, etc.

If a person crosses our borders illegally, that person will never be permitted to enter our country again.

This is OUR country. Time to take it back.
