wine pairings with food
Food and flavor combinations?

Is there a website, or some other source, that lists what goes good with what? For example, if I start with chicken it would tell me what spices and herbs go good with chicken, it would list what side dishes or other flavors go good with chicken, etc. Not wine pairings, I’m talking specifically other foods.

Here’s a good one. It’s a Chefs Blog:

You asked about chicken, some of the ways you can season chicken is with rosemary or dill, lemon, pepper and sea salt.
You can also marinate chicken in Italian salad dressing.
Use bottled Aisan sauces too. These also work well with pork or beef in a crockpot. Rice goes well with chicken, seasoned with chicken bullion and a bit of butter in the water when you cook it.
If you are cooking in a crock pot, in the last hour, toss in some cut up potatos and carrots and let them cook in the meat juices.
You can Google ‘side dishes with chicken’, or beef, fish, pork etc. and the sites will give suggestions.
