airline check in luggage “fragile’ sticker?

When checking-in luggage with a red fragile sticker (the one with wine glass symbol)
Do airline staff/airport handlers deal with such luggage more carefully?
Are “fragile” luggage collected separately upon arrival or are placed on the same conveyer belt as other luggage?
Is there an extra charge for requesting a “fragile” sticker to be placed on luggage?

When you request for the fragile sticker, you’ll need to sign what we call “Limited Release”. What it means that the airline will accept your item as a fragile baggage and will take much care as possible, but any damage caused to the item will not be airline’s responsibility. On the Limited Release recommends passenger to purchase travel insurance in case damage is done to the item.

However, your fragile item will not be loaded onto the belt with other bags, but will be loaded onto a belt where a loader will handle them with extra care and put your fragile item with other passengers’ fragile item. These fragile items will be then loaded into the cargo hold located at the back of the aircraft. There is no guarantee what kind of ‘fragile’ item will be place on top of your fragile item.

On arrival, there is a place next to the baggage belt where loaders will place all fragile items.

There is no charge for the fragile service
