There are so many good ones its difficult to know where to begin. However before I start from personal experience I would say stay clear of Virgin. My first suggestion would be Averys of Bristol (http://www.averys.com/default.aspx?linkid=index&mrc=e0070).
They have a great selection of wines and their customer services are excellent. Your second choice Tesco is very good too. The only drawback being that you find a wine you like and you can’t get any more. Retailers shift wines and don’t really care if you come back for more. If you feel happier with a supermarket try Waitrose (http://www.waitrosewine.com/). Sainsburys are good as well.
Another one to consider is Stratfords (http://www.stratfordwine.co.uk/). I could go on all night but if you can’t find anything you like e-mail me and I will suggest some more.
