Stop Racking Your Brain! 4 White Wine Punch Recipes For a Great Party!

Punch is a thirst quenching cooler that will surely delight your guests especially during the summer months. They are easy to prepare and rather inexpensive rather than buying those ready-made cocktails. Punch will be easier on the pocket and will taste better. Try out these punches that have white wine as their main ingredient and your guests will surely keep coming back for more.

Fruity wine punch

Ingredients

1 litre/1 pint 15fl oz white wine
1 apple, chopped
300ml/101/2fl oz apple juice
150ml/5fl oz sparkling elderflower ice

Method 1. Combine wine, juice and apples in a jug with ice and stir.
2. Top with sparkling elderflower water and serve.

Super Fruity Sangria

Ingredients:
1 Bottle of your favorite white wine (This recipe is just as delicious with a good red wine, if you so choose)
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
1 Lime cut into wedges
1 Peach cut into wedges
1 Cup sliced strawberries
1/2 Cup lemonade or limeade
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 shots of apricot, peach or “berry” flavored brandy
2 Cups ginger ale Optional: one can of diced pineapple pieces with juice

Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sliced peaches, strawberries limeade/lemonade, sugar and brandy. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale and ice just before serving. If you’d like to serve right away, use chilled white wine and serve over lots of ice.

Simple White Wine Sangria Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Bottle of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc)
2/3 cup white sugar
3 oranges (sliced) or may substitute 1 cup of orange juice)
1 lemon (sliced) 1 lime (sliced)
1/2 liter of ginger ale or club soda (ginger ale for those with a sweeter tooth!)

Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the orange, lemon and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar. Chill overnight.

Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving. If you’d like to serve right away, use chilled white wine and serve over lots of ice. Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of citrus-flavored soda pop.

Just Peachy White Wine Sangria Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Bottle of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Rioja, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc)
1/2 cup Peach Schnapps
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you prefer your Sangria)
2 sliced peaches (frozen peach slices work well)
1 sliced orange
1/2 mango peeled and sliced
1/2 liter of ginger ale

Pour wine and Schnapps in the pitcher and add sliced peach, orange, and mango. Next add sugar and stir gently. Chill mixture for at least one hour. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving. If you’d like to serve your Sangria right away, use chilled white wine and ginger ale and serve over lots of ice.

Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, a handful of fresh raspberries, kiwi slices, a shot or two of triple sec, a cup of citrus soda pop
