Has anyone hear used personalised wine glasses as bonbonneires?

I am hoping to have personalised wine glasses for all the ladies at our wedding and just wondering if anyone here has done it, what paint did they use…?

I bought what i thought was glass paint (seeing as it says it on the bottle) at a craft store, but it peels right off. I am writing on the outside of the glass and really need it to stay on – even when washed. Any ideas?
