Large glass bottle with screw cap equivalent to 2-liter soda bottle?

Does anyone know if there are any large glass bottles in the marketplace (wine bottles, water bottles, juice bottles, or the like) that have a screw cap the same size as current plastic 2-liter bottles. Unfortunately, I don’t drink much more than diet soda, and don’t have any glass wine bottles to reference.

I’m asking because I have a pet water-er that recycles plastic 2-liter bottles. Great idea; however, today’s plastic bottles are so-o-o thin that they deform a lot worse when they dispense water than they did about 10 years ago when I had a similar watering system.

I would like to find a supply of large glass bottles that are at least 2 liters (2 quarts/one half gallon), but probably not larger than one gallon, that will screw into the water-er’s base the same as the 2-liter plastic bottles do. If someone could point me to a particular beverage (brand, size, etc.) in the marketplace that comes in such a bottle, I would be immensely grateful.

Hard to say. I used to drink a lot and I’ve seen and drank it all. I think there is. A handle of vodka would probably work. You’re just going to have to check it out in person. Go to a liquor store or grocery store and investigate first hand, because this is not something anyone can figure out for you on here, because I am not exactly sure what you are trying to set up and can’t visualize the watering stystem, i think i have the picture, but bottles vary in shape and i am not sure if they will work for your watering system.
